Position: associate professor at the Cracow University of Economics
Graduated from the full-time single master’s degree program at the Cracow University of Economics in the Faculty of Production Economics in the field of organization and management in 1991. He received his master’s degree in economics on April 15, 1991, based on a master’s thesis prepared under the direction of Prof. Adam Stabryla. In 1991, he graduated from the Pedagogical Improvement Study at the Cracow University of Economics.
On October 15, 1994, he received a Master of Curriculum Design for Management Education after completing a two-year MBA at the International School of Commerce in Rynia (the studies were conducted in English by lecturers from the International Graduate School of Management (IESE) University of Navarra from Spain and the Graduate School of Business Catholic University of Lille (EDHEC) from France).
In 1995, in Barcelona, he completed the International Faculty Development Program conducted by lecturers from the Institut Superieur des Affaires Paris, Scuola di Direzioni Aziendale, Bocconi University Milan, and the International Graduate School of Management, University of Navarra, Barcelona.
In 1996-1998, he participated in a training program for management trainers – MATRIK: Management Training in Kraków, sponsored by the British Council and conducted by lecturers from the United Kingdom.
In 2000, based on his doctoral dissertation entitled Integrated Method of Strategic Analysis in Non-Profit Organizations, prepared under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Arkadiusz Potocki, he received a doctoral degree in management sciences.
In 2007, he completed a 3-month research internship at the School of Public and Nonprofit Administration at Grand Valley State University (USA).
By resolution of the Council of the Faculty of Management of the Cracow University of Economics on November 19, 2015, he was awarded the degree of Dr Habil. (H.C.) Associate Professor in the discipline of management science.
On March 1, 1991, he was appointed as an assistant in the Department of Organizational Methodology at the Institute of Organization and Management at the Cracow University of Economics, headed by Professor Zbigniew Martyniak. In 1994, he became an employee of the Department of Organization and Management Methods, into which the Department of Organization Methodology was transformed.
By decision of the Rector of the Cracow University of Economics on October 1, 2000, he was appointed to the position of assistant professor in the Department of Organization and Management Methods.
By the decision of the Rector of the Cracow University of Economics on November 1, 2019, he was employed in the Department of Organization and Management Methods as a university professor in the group of research and teaching staff.
Member of the Council for Academic Discipline of Management and Quality Studies from 2019 to date.
Member of the Institute Curriculum and Teaching Team for the majors: “Modern Business Management”, “Business Innovation”, “Quantitative Methods in Contemporary Management” , “Marketing and Market Communication”, “International Management”, “International Management”.
Author and co-author of more than 200 scientific publications in the form of monographs, articles, and conference proceedings. My scientific interests are mainly in the following areas: strategy design of enterprises, public institutions and non-governmental organizations, the application of creative thinking in problem solving in organizations, the study of the maturity of organizations in strategic management, process management, digitization and the evolution of organization and management methods.

Performer and co-performer of research and implementation projects for business practice.
Favorite winter sports: skiing and ice hockey (currently only as a fan).
Favorite summer sports: snorkeling on coral reefs, cycling.
Favorite music: Trance (currently), Heavy metal (during youth).
Favorite leisure activity (besides the sports mentioned): good reading, fishing, mushroom picking, “hunting” with a camera (in the woods or underwater).
