Dr hab. Sławomir Wawak, Associate Professor at Cracow University of Economics (UEK), is a specialist in the field of management and has been employed at the Department of Management Process at UEK since 1999. He possesses academic, teaching, and practical experience, and is the author of numerous scientific publications, including books, articles, and conference papers in the areas of quality management, project management, IT-based management support systems, and the design and improvement of management systems.
As part of his teaching activities, he delivers courses on the design of management systems, management of economic and organisational projects, management information systems, and the analysis and design of management processes. He is also the founder and editor of the portals *Encyklopedia Zarządzania* and *CEOpedia*, which serve as valuable sources of knowledge for students and management practitioners.
Since 2001, he has worked as a consultant, collaborating with numerous consulting firms and institutions. He specialises in the analysis and design of management systems, with particular emphasis on quality management, information security, and human resource management. His experience includes the implementation of management systems in manufacturing and service enterprises, as well as in public administration.
