Jolanta Walas-Trębacz holds a PhD in Economic Sciences in the discipline of Management and Quality Studies and is an assistant professor at the Department of Management Processes at the Cracow University of Economics. She is the author of over 230 publications (articles, book chapters, monographs), particularly in the areas of strategic management, human resource management, project management, crisis management, the application of concepts and methods in organizational improvement, as well as distance education.

Her research interests focus on, among others: organizational development, crisis management, value chain analysis in enterprises, project management, the application of contemporary management concepts in enterprises, and distance education.

She has many years of teaching experience in courses such as Organization and Management, Analysis of Management Effectiveness, Organizational Development of a Company, Strategic Management, Crisis Management, and International Business Management. She is a certified Tutor.

She serves as Chair of the Institute’s Quality Assurance Team for the 2024–2028 term.

She is a member of the Council of the Institute of Management at the Cracow University of Economics for the 2024–2028 term, as well as a member of the University Council for Teaching Excellence for the 2024–2028 term.

She is involved in organizational consulting, acts as an expert, and participates in projects and programs aimed at improving the operation of entities and administrative units. She also conducts training in company development management and human resource management.
