Research interests 

Main areas: sports and recreational activity, in particular: sports and health training, the impact of systematic physical activity on morphological fitness and physical fitness, psychological and physiological aspects of recreational activity. 

 Functions performed: 

 Scientific activity: 

• author and co-author of over 30 publications on sports, recreation and tourism; 
• member of the Training Department of the Małopolska Football Association, from 2018 to the present; 
• member of many research projects: Martyrdom tourism in Poland (based on the example of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum) (2011); The impact of the organization of the European Football Championship EURO 2012 in Poland on tourism in Krakow (2012); Functioning and evaluation of the “Moje pitch Orlik 2012” program (in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship) (2013), Museums as tourist attractions (in the opinion of visitors to Krakow), 2014, Changes in the tourist behavior of Poles and their conditions in the years 2006-2015 (2015), Impact information and communication technologies for the tourism market (2016), Assessment of physical activity of students of Krakow universities and the processes of its support by modern information and communication technologies (2017), Use of information and communication technologies by facilities providing hotel services (2018); 
• supervisor of over 150 diploma theses (Bachelor’s and Master’s). 
• participation in national and international conferences. 

Didactics: 

Participant of many didactic training courses, including: UEK HUB project. Didactic 1.0 in the field of “Problem Based Learning” and UEK HUB. Didactic 2.0 in the field of “Online course design” (Blended Learning).
