Dr. in Social Sciences; Management and Quality Sciences Employed at the Department of Tourism at the Krakow University of Economics since March 1, 2009, currently holding the position of Assistant Professor.

Research Interests:
  • Information and communication technologies (ICT) in tourism,
  • e-commerce tools of tourism services,
  • knowledge intensive business services (KIBS),
  • business tourism (MICE),
  • transport in tourism and innovation in services.

Scientific Activity and Other Roles:
  • Author of over 70 scientific publications (articles, books and manuscripts).
  • Member of numerous scientific teams in over 20 different research projects (including 2 funded by the National Science Centre and 1 by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Visegrad Fund and others).
  • Participant and speaker at nearly 40 scientific and/or industry conferences.
  • Laureate of the 18th edition of the competition for the Minister of Education and Science’s scholarship for outstanding young scientists.
  • Co-author of a publication titled “Innovation Orientation in Business Services. Scope, Scale and Measurement,” published by the prestigious international publisher Edward Elgar Publishing.
