Professor of economics (2001). He is an academic teacher and researcher in the field of Human Resource Management. Main fields of interest are: Transformation of HR-Function, Strategic and International HRM, Sustainable HRM, Leadership, Performance Management, Talent Management, Diversity Issues, Labour market. He is author, co-author and editor of over 300 publications by international and Polish publishers and Journals. He is supervisor of 17 completed doctoral theses. He is Chair of Human Capital Management Department at the KUE. He served as a Dean of the Economic and International Relations Faculty (2002-2008) and as a Vice-Rector for Research (2012-2020). Member of the Labour Studies & Social Policy Committee and member of the Organization and Management Committee at the Polish Academy of Science in Warsaw. Member of the Academy of Management and Member of Editorial Boards at some scientific Journals. He is winner of the title “Man of the Year in HR in Poland” (2008) and scholarship winner of DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service (1987-89, 1995) and Volkswagen Foundation (1991).
