On Thursday, March 13, second-year students of the International Logistics program had the opportunity to meet with a representative of ROHLIG SUUS Logistics SA, Mr. Łukasz Kuliński, during a guest lecture titled “Designing a Logistics Center.” The meeting was held as part of the course “Logistics Centers” taught by MSc Eng. Bartosz Rozmund.
Logistics centers play a crucial role in today’s economy. They enable the efficient organization of transport, warehousing, and distribution, supporting the smooth operation of entire supply chains. While each logistics center may function slightly differently, they all share the common goal of facilitating the effective flow of goods. These centers also serve as hubs for cooperation with business partners.
ROHLIG SUUS Logistics is actively developing its logistics infrastructure across various regions of Poland, managing state-of-the-art distribution centers and providing comprehensive logistics services.
Engaging with industry practitioners is of great value in the education of our future graduates. We are pleased that our students eagerly take part in such lectures, ask insightful questions, and share their thoughts and reflections. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Łukasz Kuliński for his engaging lecture and the inspiring knowledge he shared.
It is also worth noting that the Department of International Management and Logistics has enjoyed a long-standing collaboration with ROHLIG SUUS Logistics, benefiting from their professional and organizational support in many academic initiatives.
