Scientific and research interests:

Problems in the field of managing the development of organisations in the private, public and non-governmental sector, project management, risk management, quality management, application of mathematical physics models in management, analysis of contemporary business models, legal and economic issues in management. Specialising in issues related to diagnosing organisational development, defining development strategies, project management methods in both traditional and agile approaches, designing organisational structures in companies and crisis management.

• Employed in the Department of International Management and Logistics at the Institute of Management, College of Management and Quality Sciences, Cracow University of Economics
• Employed at the Department of Applied Economics, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (1997-1999)
• Employed at the Institute of Public Affairs, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (1999-2006)

Functions performed at the Cracow University of Economics

• Member of the Council of the Discipline of Management Science and Quality.
• Member of the Senate Education Committee (2020 – 2024).
• Chairperson of the University Disciplinary Appeals Committee for Doctoral Students in the Doctoral School of UEK (since 2020).
• Supervisor of students of the Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme (NAWA), as well as the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD).

Research and teaching activities

• Author and co-author of numerous national and international scientific publications and speaker at numerous international and national scientific conferences.
• Co-operation with universities in Poland (e.g. Jagiellonian University in Kraków, University of Warmia and Mazury, Cracow University of Technology, Kielce University of Technology) as well as abroad (e.g. VIA University College Denmark in Horsens and Aarhus).
