dr Agnieszka Żak

Doctor of Economic Sciences in the field of Management Science (Jagiellonian University).

Teaching activities: University of Economics in Krakow (since 1.10.2009).

Organisational activities: Director of postgraduate studies in ‘Business Management – MBA-type Management Studies’ at the Krakow School of Business of the University of Economics in Krakow (since 2008).

Organisational functions: supervisor of the International Management programme, member of the Management Institute Council, member of the Institute Team for the Quality of Education, Academic Coordinator of the Erasmus Programme, Member of the Qualification Committee for Foreign Trips of KUE Students.

Social activities: Zaczytani.org Foundation – coordinator and volunteer of the Zaczytana Akademia in Krakow (since 2018). Member of the Programme Council of ‘Tak! Pomagam’ Provident Polska (employee volunteering programme).

Research interests: international management, intercultural management, business ethics, social responsibility, corporate social responsibility (CSR), cross-sector partnerships (especially: cooperation between NGOs and business), logistics, bionics, negotiations.

Outside of work: meeting friends, travelling, photography, a good crime novel, gardening.
