Anna Pietruszka-Ortyl, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Organizational Behavior at the College of Management and Quality Sciences at the Cracow University of Economics, where she obtained her PhD degree in the scientific field: Management. Her PhD dissertation was titled: Intangibles as the determinants of the selection of the alliance partner.
The key areas of her scientific research are: intangible resources management, organizational behavior, knowledge workers and management’s paradigms. Recently, in her work, she has been focusing on knowledge management and intellectual capital, organizational culture and professionals. She is an author, co-author and editor of over 170 monographies and papers devoted to the contemporary issues of management. ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7344-7821. Awarded with 19 Awards of the Rector of the Cracow University of Economics: 13 individual awards for special achievements in the scientific field (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, 2021) as well as 2 individual and 2 team awards for special organizational achievements (2017,2018,2019,2020) and 2 team awards for special achievements in teaching (2019, 2021).
Awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland with the Bronze Medal for Long-Time Service in 2011, and the Silver Medal for Long-Time Service in 2022.
She gives lectures on organizational behavior, intangible resources, knowledge and intellectual capital management, corporate entrepreneurship, business etiquette at the first and second degree studies, also in English. She obtained Silver Medallion for achieving Second Place in Poland for English for Business – Third Level (LCCI – London Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
