Magdalena Dołhasz

dr Magdalena Dołhasz, prof. UEK

Dr Magdalena DOŁHASZ graduated with a degree in Planning and Financing of the National Economy from the Cracow University of Economics. She holds a doctorate in management science and works as a university professor in the Department of Marketing.

His research interests include marketing communication, instruments and models in particular the segment of seniors and the impact of marketing communication on their purchasing decisions. In recent years, he has prepared several dozen publications, including a monograph, articles, chapters in monographs published in nationwide publications. He contributes to the research conducted in the Department of Marketing and conducts his own research as part of his scientific interests, in particular on the attitudes of seniors towards marketing communication.

She carries out extensive teaching activities and constantly improves her teaching competences by training in new teaching methods. She is a certified tutor and is also certified in e-learning courses (she participated in the three-semester EU project “Didactic HUB” in 2018-2019).

As part of her didactics, she also teaches at the University of the Third Age and the UEK Children’s University. For many years, she has been cooperating with the Krakow Business School of UEK acting as the director of the postgraduate course of the “European MBA-type Management Studies”.

She is the originator and organiser of didactic and scientific poster conferences, which for the past 6 years in June have brought together both students of the UEK Business School as well as students of the Jagiellonian University and the AGH University of Science and Technology, now renamed the Marketing Universiades as of 2022.

She is actively involved in the organisational activities of the University and the Department of Marketing. She was a member of the Senate of the University of Economics during the 2012-2016 term, and has twice been a member of the Council of the Faculty of Management: as a representative of the group of assistant professors, assistant professors and senior lecturers (2012-2016) and as a representative of the Inter-University Union of Science Employees (2016-2020). She is a member of the Chancellor’s Committee on Staff Welfare, Health and Cultural Affairs (two terms 2012-2016, 2016-2020 and now 2020-2024), a member of the Senate Publishing Committee (current term 2020-2024) and Secretary of the Marketing and Market Communication faculty.
