On April 24, 2025, the International Colloquium for Doctoral Students Krakow 2025 was held at the Cracow University of Economics (CUE), initiated by the Doctoral School of the Cracow University of Economics and the Doctoral School of Entrepreneurship and Business at the Budapest University of Economics and Business (BUEB). The event brought together doctoral students from both institutions, as well as academic staff involved in reviewing and providing feedback on research projects.

During the colloquium, doctoral candidates had the opportunity to present the assumptions of their research projects, discuss methodological approaches, and share preliminary findings.

The colloquium featured a presentation by Mr. Ireneusz Rynduch, a representative of the Department of Labor Resource Management, who outlined the framework of his doctoral dissertation entitled Sustainable Leadership and Employees’ Organizational Commitment in IT Enterprises in Poland. After delivering his presentation in English, Mr. Rynduch participated in a discussion focused on the next stages of his dissertation work and addressed questions posed by the colloquium participants.

The presentations delivered by doctoral students fostered an exchange of ideas in an international setting and provided an opportunity to receive valuable feedback and recommendations from experts representing various academic institutions. The workshop served as an important element supporting the scholarly development of participants, enabling them to reflect on their research and refine their academic work.

The event aimed not only to showcase doctoral research projects but also to build relationships among early-career researchers, promote the exchange of experiences, and inspire further interdisciplinary research efforts. The International Colloquium for Doctoral Students Krakow 2025 was organized within the framework of the STER NAWA project implemented by the Doctoral School of CUE, under the title “Training, Talent, Experts, Diversity – Internationalization of the Doctoral School at CUE.”

During the closing session, the directors of both doctoral schools emphasized the importance of international cooperation in advancing academic research and enhancing the quality of doctoral education. They expressed their satisfaction with the high standard of the presented projects and the engagement of the doctoral students. Furthermore, they declared their intention to continue institutional collaboration, including the organization of future colloquium editions and the development of joint academic and educational initiatives.
