The academic career began on October 1, 1990, as an assistant at the Department of Labor Economics at the University of Economics in Krakow, which later changed its name to the Department of Labour Resource Management.
On March 18, 1999, the doctorate in economic sciences was obtained in the field of Management Sciences. The topic of the doctoral dissertation was “Employee Performance Appraisal System as a Human Resource Management Tool in an Enterprise.” Subsequently, on July 4, 2013, the post-doctoral degree in economic sciences in the field of management was awarded by the Faculty Council of Management at the University of Economics in Krakow. Since November 1, 2019, has held the position of professor at the University of Economics in Krakow.
Professional work:
A consultant to corporate boards and trade unions in the development of employee appraisal and remuneration systems. The author of training programs in human resource management for business practice, including the managerial staff of the Ministry of Education and Sports.
Publications:
Has written over 100 publications, including works in Slovak, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and Italian, as well as articles in English in Italy and Poland.

The areas of specialization include talent management, human resource management, diversity management, and contemporary challenges and modern instruments of human resource management.

Has participated in the Scientific Council of the Academy of Management, the Quarterly Journal of the Faculty of Engineering Management, and has published various scientific publications included in the Dorobek database.
